Lake Arrowhead Georgia
Lake Arrowhead is a private, gated community that contains the largest man made lake in Georgia. Lake Arrowhead offers gorgeous scenic mountain terrain overlooking the community's crystal clear 540 acre spring-fed lake. Because it is continuous spring feed lake, the water level rarely fluctuates over a foot. During a recent water quality test, it was reported the lake was one of the cleanest in Georgia. No septic systems are allowed on the lake and the dam is a spill-over which helps remove floating debris keeping this lake sparkling.
Your travels throughout the community will take you past several breathtaking scenic overlooks with a view of the lake, rolling hills, and golf course. Lake Arrowhead offers a championship 18-hole golf course, driving range, horse stables, an Arrowhead shaped swimming pool, tennis courts, and a club house with restaurant overlooking the lake.
Make sure you stop by the covered bridge at the south entrance before dusk. The deer are grazing in the water just under the bridge. This is a perfect opportunity for a quick photo and then move down the hill and park on the dam to take a few snapshots of the sun setting into the mountains while
overlooking the lake.
Visitors are attracted to this beautiful mountain resort located less than 60 minutes north of downtown Atlanta. Take I-75 North to I-575 North and turn left at exit #20. Your less than 10 minutes from nature.
